POST - PRODUCTION (PLANNING MAGAZINE ARTICLE)
The first step i took was to visit different websites on how a magazine article has
What I first noticed is that they use speech marks of the people they interviewed as a part of their title, but in my opinion i think that it is not as capturing than creating an interesting topic, telling the people exactly what they are going to read about. Especially with the media today, people want things immediate and straightforward
They also make sure to credit their writers
this article by 'Stephanie Jenkins' used behind the senes and clips from the documentary. Most of the images used with all three articles are still images and usually took in the moment.
PRESENTATION
Despite the great information that was given, I was still not as satisfied with the presentation/aesthetics, so I went to canva to look for inspiration.
I simply just searcched 'Magazine article' Here are some of the few examples I saw:
From this I found lots of templates to take inspiration from
Its simplicity balances the overwhelming of information is something I truly appreciate. One more thing I loved about these was that each one had a unique colour scheme. For example, the first image included pink and brown, the second featured green and cream white, and the third had a black and white theme. The fonts used were also very cleverly thought, because of its limited space they used the fonts and how the pictures is edited to make it presentable.
CREATING MY MAGAZINE ARTICLE
For the title and the top top of my page to show it's produced by 'WhoisNicole', I used the green colour to keep the main colour theme of the brand as well as the fact it's a colour that pops out. The fonts used were 'Playfair Display' and 'TT interphases'.
I made sure to choose a clean and professional font for the information, 'Cormorant Garamond', I also boldened the part of the text that quotes one of the answers of the people I interviewed.
I had very limited images to put so i only chose the ones that was necessary, I made sure to use the images that I took from my raw clips
